The tweet mocks the student journalist who fled gunman Nikolas Cruz along with classmates at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School as he has been relentless in his calls for tighter gun laws and repeatedly asked the president to do more to end gun violence. His 51 y/o Dad, Kevin said it was "disgusting" that the president and his family blamed the shooting on the FBI and twitter user Thomas Pine shared a link from a True Pundity story that poked holes in David's story It said David was an "outspoken, Trump hating school shooting survivor. Yes No View Results Scott Pappalardo from New York, a strong supporter of the 2nd amendment rights took a stand today to SAW off the barrel of his AR-15 instead of SELLING IT because he doesn't want a weapon like this pointed at someone else ever again!! He recorded the video destroying his gun in response to the deadly shooting in Parkland, Florida. He rendered it useless instead of selling it and said "I've decided today, i'm going to make sure this weapon will never be able to take a life. The barrel of this gun will never be pointed at someone again." He said he had the gun for target shooting and owned it for 30 years. The shooting in Florida was the last straw for him as he weighed the second amendment, of which he is a supporter, against the danger and death that guns can cause. In his video, it said "Is the right to own this weapon more important than someone's life?" He noted that the majoriity of mass shootings has been the AR-15 such as Sandy Hook and that he'd happily sacrifice his guns to save the life of a child Scott said "Look at the pictures of those victims. Is that right (the right to own guns) more important?" While he still enjoys shooting targets for fun, he doesn't want his weapons used for violent purposes. Honestly?...Yes No View Results An American Flag was TORN to sheds at a Utah High School and was replaced with an ISIS FLAG in what police said was a "sick prank"!! Employees at Hurricane High School were blown away after hey discovered the vandalism early on Thursday morning, in addition to the US flag that hung on their flag pole and was replaced with an "ISIS" Flag and a note that said "ISIS IS COMING" on the school walls!! The department said "Based on information we received from the FBI, we do not believe this act was perpetrated by someone linked to the Islamic State" The graffiti looked like someonw as interrupted while writing "ISIS is coming" as it only said "Comi" and was swifly removed by staff The ISIS flg was also lowered immediately and is being processed for evidence leaning to the perps. Classes were still held as usual as there was no immediate threat to the school. The student body has roughly 770 people. Would you freak out if you saw this hanging on a flagpole in your city? These high powered weapons should be not on the streets View Results Just 2 Days after one of the worst mass shootings in America that left 17 students and teachers dead, the NRA has released a video explaining why firearms SHOULDN'T be regulated and urged politicians to AVOID a regulation vote!! The shocking video by the NRA uses WW2 era Britain as an example of why firearms shouldn't be controlled as the 1963 fotage of "The Big Picture" a documentary produced by the US Army Signal Corps are told why guns are essential to US citizens, including the AR-15!! The narrator says "there will always be bad guys" and "careless people" who have access to firearms but that shouldn't lead to restrictions as they draw similarities between banning guns because of shootings to banning cars because of road accidentss. They also used Britain as an example of why guns should remain unchanged speaking to the rescue of British Troops from Dunkirk that saw British leave tonnes of military equipment on the beaches of France leaving British people weak against the enemy The narrator says "In Great Britain, gun legislation of this kind almost ended in disasater. The nation was threatened with imminent invasion by Hitler's forces and they were defenseless to fight back. Ten Downing Street urgently requested aid from the United States. America responded and sent shiploads of arms to the embattled British, helped turn the tide" But the depiction that the UK was on the brink of collapse is untrue. What's true was that the US did supply them with arms during WW2, a lack of superiority in the air above Britain the English Channel meant that they were never seriously considered.. The video also suggests that the bad guys will not be stopped from getting guns and that it's dangerous to take guns away from the law abiding ones that will "save them". It says guns will save a life, not take it and that a potential government attack on its citizens is IMMINENT if gun regulation is passed!! The NRA video was in response to the mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman after the gun depate as re-opened and the people are sending a signal to politicians who don't vote for change and are being sponsored by the heavily lobbied NRA. What's true was that the US did supply them with arms during WW2, a lack of superiority in the air above Britain the English Channel meant that they were never seriously considered. Alexis Brison who filmed the video showed the altercation that has now gone viral as police tried to persuade her to STOP RECORDING!! She said "about an hour into out dinner we were approached by an independence police officer, a mall cop and the restaurant manager. We were told that were accused of eating and not paying for CHICKEN the day before" She was heard saying they have not ate there befoer as they proclaim their innocence and said they were able to pay.
